COMPANY SUMMARY:   

The focus of Hodge Western Corp over the last 20 years started in heavy civil and evolved into technology-driven, specialty underground utility construction.  We operate in three divisions: Directional Drilling, Utility Scale Renewables, and Rock Trenching.  Our company works on projects throughout the western, southern, and midwestern United States. We are passionate about executing and growing our specialized methods for complex utility construction to provide our partner customers with significant advantages in both safety and efficiency over traditional means and methods.  

Positions: Hiring Direction Drilling Operators, Locators and Laborers.  CDL preferred.  

Location: Albion, MI

Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

Full time position for horizontal directional drill Operators, Locators, and Laborers.

•  Daily inspections of drill: greasing, fueling, and machine or locator operations duties
•  Machinery set up: safety, personnel and other machinery
•  Effectively monitor and maintain equipment
•  Maintain a safe and clean work environment
•  Follow all OSHA and site specific safety regulations
•  Report any repair or safety concerns directly to supervisor

Requirements:

• Minimum three years construction experience
• Minimum one year operating/locating for directional drills
• Must have knowledge drilling in various conditions
• Valid driver's license, CDL preferred

Compensation: 

Operators & Locators - $35 per hour

Laborers: $25 per hour
